Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WiFi Passwords LLC (“WiFi Passwords”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — such as your name, email address and profile details when you sign up or log in (including via Apple, Google or Facebook).
- Location data — your approximate or precise location, when you grant permission, so we can show nearby WiFi networks and maps.
- Community contributions — networks, passwords, speed tests, notes and other content you choose to add to the map.
- Usage and device data — how you interact with the Services, device type, operating system, identifiers and diagnostic information.
- Purchase data — information needed to process eSIM and other purchases, handled by our payment partners.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Services and the map of WiFi passwords.
- To show nearby hotspots, offline maps and eSIM coverage.
- To process purchases and deliver eSIM data plans.
- To operate community features, rewards and $WIFI token programs.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and to keep the network secure.
- To communicate with you about updates, support and offers.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Services (such as hosting, analytics and payment processors), with connectivity partners to deliver eSIM plans, and where required by law. Hotspots and contributions you add to the map are shared publicly with the community.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure performance and improve your experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can request permanent deletion of your account and related data on our Delete account page.
Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
International transfers & security
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We use appropriate safeguards and reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above.
